The setting of the story about this sacred stone was recorded in the book Belitung Malay Oral Literature, the result of research in 1987.

The name of this sacred stone is mentioned in the story entitled Datuk Letang.
Long story short, Datuk Letang disappeared and was searched for by his adopted son, whose name was not revealed.
However, what is clear is that Datuk Letang's adopted son is said to be a pious child who is obedient to worship.
In the midst of his search, the child then arrived at the sacred stone when it was time for the Asr prayer.
